FINAL REFLECTION ON BOOK
In this book Prisons We Choose To Live Inside by Doris Lessing, I found interesting the chapter group minds because I think It covered the main idea of the book because at some point Lessing mentions that her main idea of the five chapters is to show us how often and how much we are dominated by our savage past, as individuals and as groups. Also I found interesting to learn Doris' different point of view of life. While I was reading the chapters It was challenging to understand everything at the first time I read it. Also it was challenging to understand all the vocabulary in the chapters and the way Doris explained things. As a reader it helped me a lot to be in a group and discus everyone's different point of view of the chapter that we have read. Also by doing the summary in a group helped me a lot because it was easier for me to get the main idea of every single chapter but of course finding the meaning of the words helped me understand what Doris Lessing was talking about or trying to show us. I think that all assignments helped me understand the book better even though some worked better than others. I will actually suggest this book to many people because it helps you understand the way you live your life and how other people live theirs. It will be interesting to show other people how things have happened in the past and how it has affected our lives throw out the years.
