This class has helped me a lot as a reader because now I can take my understanding to a deeper level. Now I have more knowledge of how to understand an essay and how to get the main idea of it. They group summaries and the group presentations helped me a lot because as a group we were able to discuss things and if there was a problem or something that we did not understod from the essay we were able to discuss and find a solution to it. Also working in groups helped me understand the essays better and learn about each different point of view of everyone in my group. I think every single activity helped me a lot although for me it was difficult to find a good way to learn meaning of the words. I really think the teacher has a great way of teaching because during this class I have learned a lot of things about how to be a better reader. I liked how she organized and prepared all the assignments that we were a post to do because it was easy to understand them and follow her directions.
